In the spirit of May Day’s “No Work, No School, No Shopping,” De-ICE Hanscom invites you to a Potluck Picnic before the standout on Friday, May 1, from 12:30–1:30.

The idea is simple: instead of buying anything that day, we pool what we already have. Check your kitchen, bring a dish or snacks to share, and help create a collective spread—no May Day shopping required. Bring a blanket or chair, and feel free to invite a friend. We’ll have drinks and paper goods covered.

With a little planning and sharing, we can make this a full picnic using what’s already on hand.

The forecast looks great at present (mostly sunny, upper 50s), and this is a rain-or-shine event (we’ll have canopies if needed). The standout will follow from 1:30–3:00.
